Cryotherapy

The word “kryos” is from the Greek language and means cold or frost. Cryotherapy,
also known as ice therapy, refers to the application of ice for therapeutic purposes.

The various forms of application used in this treatment are applied for various periods
of time to support the body’s own healing processes. Temperatures below 0° Celsius
are used. The application methods consist of ice bags, ice dip baths, ice massage and
ice rubs.
