Voice therapy

Voice therapy serves in the restoration of the voice when there are deficiencies
in vocalisation, the sound of the voice, intonation and resilience of the voice.

Frequent symptoms include great difficulty in speaking, changes in the sound of the
voice (hoarseness, a brittle, congested, growling or whispering voice sound), aphonia
(inability to activate the voice), a voice register that is too high/deep, too quiet/loud,
tension and misalignments of the tongue, the lips, the lower jaw, the muscles in the
face, throat, larynx, neck, shoulders and possibly the entire body (frequently associated
with a feeling of obstruction in the throat), disrupted breathing when speaking
(for example, gasping with audible inhaling), closed articulation with little opening
movement of the jaw, insufficient lip movement and weakness of the voice.
